200324-N-ZW591-1028 SASEBO, Japan (March 24, 2020) Utilitiesman 2nd Class Jordan Gouge, from Lawton, Oklahoma, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Sasebo, operates an excavator at the pre-engineered buildings construction site. The U.S. Navy Seabees are constructing two pre-engineered buildings for Naval Beach Unit Seven, Yokose, Japan. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
