CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa, Japan (March 28, 2020) Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB) 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fuel an AH-1Z Viper helicopter during a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) exercise. During the evolution, the MEU's Combined Anti-Armor Team conducted a ship to shore movement from San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD-20), before securing a landing zone for the FARP. The America Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
