Stefan Knight, left, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 4 and the naval flight officer Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) instructor, conducts an annual NATOPS evaluation with Lt. Cmdr. Scott Wagner aboard a squadron P-8A aircraft following a maritime domain awareness mission over the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. VP-4 is currently forward deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and is assigned to Commander, Task Force 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout Europe and Africa.
