U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Ron Patterson with the 52nd Engineering Battalion uses a bulldozer to build a fire break at the U.S. Air Force Academy in support of the Waldo Canyon wild fire in Colorado Springs, Colo. on June 27, 2012. The 52nd worked in five teams to create containment lines for the fire along the western border to help save Air Force assets.
