Kosovo Force Regional-Command East task force explosive ordnance disposal team members respond to Kosovo Police reports of unexploded ordnance April 3, 2020, in northern Kosovo.
Multiple reports of UXO were reported by community members in separate locations.
Kosovo Police secured each scene while RC-E’s EOD team members safely disposed of the UXO at each location, said Staff Sgt. Zachary Valentine, an RC-E EOD team leader.
“We maintain a good working relationship with the Kosovo Police,” said Valentine. “We have worked together on multiple occasions and continue to cooperate in ensuring a safe environment for the people of Kosovo.”
Freedom of movement and the safety and security of the people of Kosovo is a top priority for KFOR RC-E.
