The MDNG JTF-Cyber team was stood up in response to the Governor’s call for a state of emergency in support of the COVID-19 response efforts. The team is tasked with protecting and evaluating Maryland government websites to ensure they are functioning properly and the information presented is accurate.
More than 2,000 Maryland National Guard members are activated to support Maryland’s response to COVID-19. The MDNG is working in close coordination with many agencies to support civil authorities.
