New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Joseph Giuga, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery, part of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, reaches out for medical volunteers from the community as part of New York’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fifteen members of his unit are working in the Medical Reserve Corp's Call Center in Brooklyn to help New York City hospitals find additional staffing at some of the hardest hit facilities.
