Pvt. Samuel Baum, a Soldier assigned to the Ohio National Guard's 237th Support Battalion, hands bags of food and related items to a person in line at a community food distribution event April 2, 2020, in Kenton, Ohio. Baum, and about 20 other Soldiers on state active duty during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the West Ohio Food Bank, helped serve 701 households and 1,906 individuals in need that day, amounting to more than $151,000 of food and other critical items distributed within the span of a few hours.
