The purpose of these measures is to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 while enabling personnel in mission-critical facilities to continue to perform their tasks. A recent order by the commanding general, Marine Corps Installations East – MCB Camp Lejeune made it mandatory for individuals to possess and wear face coverings when in base activities in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
