Archbishop of New Orleans Gregory Aymond speaks with Navy Capt. Kevin Brown, commanding officer, Expeditionary Medical Facility – M, after blessing the personal housing unit (PHU) New Orleans, La. April 10, 2020. The PHU is designed for symptomatic patients transferred from area hospital emergency departments with pending COVID-19 test results. The EMF works in coordination with federal, state, and local health officials to ensure equipment and resources are in place and are operationally capable to safely treat patients.
