190602-N-TR141-0006 NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (June 2, 2020) The family of Antonio Linares Fernandez and Dolores Rodriguez Menendez pose for a photo with Brenda Navarro Castellet, Naval Station Rota, Spain, Spanish protocol advisor, in the air traffic control tower during a tour of the base. Approximately 60 years ago, Dolores worked for the U.S. Supply Corps which is now NAVSUP FLC Sigonella - Site Rota, and Antonio for Corbetta Construction which built the tetrapods that created the seawall for the artificial harbor. NAVSTA Rota sustains the fleet, enables the fighter and supports the family by conducting air operations, port operations, ensuring security and safety, assuring quality of life and providing the core services of power, water, fuel and information technology.
