Lance Cpl. Ismael Renteria, a heavy equipment operator with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, operates a skid steer during a command post exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 8, 2020. Renteria was mixing sand and gravel to make a stronger building foundation. The Marines and Sailors of SPMAGTF-SC use the training opportunity of the CPX to both show their capabilities in a controlled environment and prepare for the upcoming mission.
