Lance Cpl. Joseph Sacco, a water support technician with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, checks recently purified water’s chlorine level using an ultrameter device during a command post exercise at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 7, 2020. The CPX increases readiness and challenges SPMAGTF-SC command and control, communications and timely decision-making capabilities through simulated real-world scenarios. SPMAGTF-SC will be deployed into the Southern Command area of operation to provide crisis response preparedness efforts, security cooperation training and engineering events to help strengthen relations with partner nations throughout Central and South America. Sacco is a native of Beaverton, Oregon. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Andy O. Martinez)
