Illinois Governor JR Pritzker learns how the Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District plans to transform McCormick Place in Chicago into a 3000 COVID19 patient bed Alternate Care Facility in less than three weeks during his visit to the site April 2. The Chicago District, in support of the White House, Department of Defense, FEMA, and state and local officials, is currently in process for creating four ACF’s throughout the state to help fight the pandemic.
