Katherine Baile, an emergency nurse, conducts a practice screening at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s (NMCP) COVID-19 drive thru screening and triage site outside of NMCP’s Emergency Department (ED) on March 18. NMCP implemented a new drive thru screening and triage site designed to relieve the patient flow through the ED and help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in an open air environment.
