200415-N-OU681-1009 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (April 15, 2020) -- Aviation Life Support Systems Technician Krystan Hood makes face masks at the Training Air Wing 4 parachute loft aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi to aid efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. Hood, a native of Brady, Neb., served as a parachute rigger on active duty in the U.S. Air Force before transferring to the U.S. Air Force Reserve and joining the civilian team at NAS Corpus Christi. Training Air Wing 4 conducts primary, intermediate, and advanced undergraduate flight training for the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and international military partners. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
