U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Rene Hernandez,full time emergency manager, Colorado Air national Guard 233rd Space Group, Greeley, Colo., is acting as a plans coordinator for the Jefferson county emergency operations center, Golden, Colo., April 15, 2020. Hernandez just completed the emergency shelter plan for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Jefferson county area, and is the non-commissioned officer in charge of planning operations due to his 15 years of experience in the Colorado Air National Guard. Members of the Colorado National Guard have been brought on to serve in one of a multitude of task forces, that have been deployed around the state in various capacities to support state and local officials combat the Corona Virus Pandemic.
