NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 16, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Julie King, Maritime Prepositioning Force chief with 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Command element, takes inventory of vehicles brought onto the Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312) during an operation to onload and offload equipment for construction of an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
