Edison, NJ, April 15 2020—FEMA logistics and New Jersey National Guard help unload and position Battelle decontamination units at the New Jersey Exposition Center which has been set up as a Field Medical Station (FMS) to help with the response to the COVID-19 epidemic. Battelle’s technology has the capacity to decontaminate tens of thousands of N95 respirators, the type of face mask that is the most effective in protecting a healthcare worker from the novel coronavirus.
