Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Nathan Morris, from St. Charles, Mo., directs a SH-60F Sea Hawk assigned to the “Chargers” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 14 as it delivers several pallets of supplies to the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6). George Washington departed Fleet Activities Yokosuka May 26 to begin its 2012 patrol. George Washington and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interest of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
