The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), with personnel from Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding Division, conducts a weighted inclining experiment at Naval Station Norfolk, April 16. The experiment helped calculate the ship's center of gravity, and will use information from the test to determine the ship's stability in a variety of design loading conditions.
