U.S. NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 18, 2020) U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Gerardo Parra, combat engineer with Alpha Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, tightens loose end connectors on the track with a sledgehammer of an M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle to the deck of the Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR-312) during an operation to backload equipment originally moved to offload an Expeditionary Medical Facility (EMF). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
