200414-A-UQ166-0045 MANAMA, Bahrain (April 14, 2020) The coastal patrol ship USS Firebolt (PC 10) departs Manama, Bahrain, to participate in a live-fire exercise with U.S. Army AH-64E Apache attack helicopter assigned to U.S. Army Central Command’s (USARCENT) Task Force Saber. Firebolt is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the central region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
