A member of our 149th Medical Group trains with the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council April 18, 2020, as they prepare to support the Gov. Greg Abbott's Mobile Testing Site Teams. Governor Greg Abbott announced in a press release April 20 that the Texas National Guard is mobilizing more than 1,200 members as part of its mobile testing teams, and these 45-member teams will be mobilized in various parts of the state. The first teams were deployed to Fredericksburg and Floresville, Texas. The remaining teams will go to additional locations based on assessments made by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
