Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Douglas Sires, with the 3rd Medical Command, adjusts tubing during the calibration verification of a ventilator, at the 99th Readiness Division (Medical) Equipment Concentration Site, Joint Base McGuire-Dix Lakehurst, New Jersey, April 20. Calibrations can typically take four to eight hours to complete on each ventilator. These tests are important as the ventilators may be used in support of ongoing operations against COVID-19. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Jahkeem Folks)
