A Hawaii Army National Guard Soldier surveys the flightline where humvees were staged after being offloaded from a C-17 Globemaster III at the Kahului International Airport, Apr. 20, 2020. The soldier was marshalling the vehicles which were airlifted to Hawaii National Guard Soldiers and Airmen on Maui, who have been activated to support the COVID-19 response. With Hawaii being an island state, airlift plays a vital role in posturing Hawaii Guardsmen throughout the Hawaiian archipelago for COVID-19 response.
