MISAWA, Japan (April 20, 2020) - Builder 2nd Class Erica Velarde and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Jarel Richard, both assigned to Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, Misawa Detachment, cut a concrete slab while installing a jack testing machine at Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Detachment Misawa on board Naval Air Facility Misawa. NAVFAC Far East is the single facilities command serving Navy, Marine Corps and Department of Defense activities in the Far East Region.
