    USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19)

200425-N-HR150-1055 SAGAMI BAY (April 25, 2020) - Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Taylor Miller, from Corona, California, installs a forward looking infrared (FLIR) on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the "Golden Falcons" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12 on the flight deck of U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). FLIR is used on helicopters to provide imagery during search and rescue operations, and for target acquisition. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
