EAST CHINA SEA (April 23, 2020) Lance Cpl. Bryson Head, a motor transportation operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), executes kettle bell swings before conducting M240B medium machine gun operation drills. During the evolution, Marines conducted machine gun drills in conjunction with high-intensity physical training to increase their confidence when operating in high stress environments. Germantown, part of the America Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st MEU team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
