Bioreactors process effluent at a new wastewater treatment plant that started operation at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, in April. The facility, which cost about $4 million to build, is expected to save money, increase security and help the area’s environment. Coalition Forces remain united and determined in its mission to degrade and defeat Daesh and continues to work with allies and partners to implement stabilization efforts.
