200427-N-WI365-2208 SEA OF JAPAN (Apr. 27, 2020) – U.S. Navy Fireman Thomas Wilson, from Des Moines, Iowa, transports a fuel sample from the aft missile deck to the oil lab aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during a replenishment-at-sea. McCampbell is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
