YONA, Guam (May 1, 2020) Lt. Col. Jeffery S. Hogue, 18th Medical Command (MEDCOM) (Deployment Support) operations officer in charge, supported a medical capabilities support brief to Guam’s COVID-19 Unified Response Element (CURE), here. The 18th MEDCOM (DS) and Task Force West were mobilized in support of the Theater Joint Force Land Component Command (TJFLCC), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) and Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (FHA) missions for the response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Guam and the region.
