200422-N-JM114-1005 DILI, Timor-Leste (April 22, 2020) Steelworker 3rd Class Tobias Sickler, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Timor-Leste, ensures the footer subbase is at the correct elevation prior to placing reinforced steel cages for a two-room schoolhouse the U.S. Navy Seabees are building in Dili, Timor-Leste. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
