Pacific Partnership 2012 Mission Commander Navy Capt. Jim Morgan cuts a ribbon to open a newly renovated medical clinic with local Filipino leaders at Bugtong Health Center June 29 during Pacific Partnership 2012. A joint team of Filipino, U.S. and Australian military engineers renovated the health center over the course of 13 days. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission U.S. military, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international organizations designed to build stronger relationships and disaster response capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
