Bundles, simulating military vehicles, drop to the ground during a training scenario with Hurlburt Field’s Weapons School detachment and Air Force Special Tactics operators at Eglin Range, Florida, April 30, 2020. The training was part of the Weapons School’s Special Operations Force Exercise, which provided a unique opportunity for Special Tactics operators to conduct multifaceted training with air assets otherwise not available outside of larger exercises. Special Tactics is a U.S. Special Operation Command's tactical air and ground integration force, and the Air Force's special operations ground force, leading global access, precision strike, personnel recovery and battlefield surgery operations on the battlefield.
