Greek Army Warrant Officer Georgia Tsouma holds a picture of her children, Constantinos and Chryssa, on Camp Marechal Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. Tsouma is a member of Liaison Monitoring Team “Kilo 1” with Kosovo Force Regional Command-East’s Effects Battalion.
Tsouma has served in the Greek Army for 27 years. Her 18-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter admire her for her military service.
“My children are proud of me. I am proud of myself” she said, “They think I’m a very strong person and I have a great personality because I can do tough stuff.”
Tsouma said she looks forward to simply hugging them and being with them when she redeploys to Greece.
When asked what she would like to tell her children, she said “I’ll be back!”
