Jeffrey Bledsoe (right), Director of Nursing Services for Naval Medical Center San Diego, cut a cake in honor of the 112th anniversary of the establishment of the Navy Nurse Corps. Navy Nurses provide treatment to patients around the world, keeping U.S. warfighters, retirees, and their families in good health or returning them to it. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
