TOPEKA, Kansas – Kansas Army National Guard Soldiers Pfc.Tomaas Washington, 170th Maintenance Company, and Sgt. Nicholas Bowen, 161th Field Artillery Regiment, work together to package and stage personal protective equipment to be delivered to counties May 13, 2020. A team of Kansas National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are sorting, inventorying and processing orders of personal protective equipment in a warehouse at Forbes Field in Topeka, Kansas. The items are shipped out daily to requesting counties and health departments across the state to meet demands during the COVID-19 pandemic.
