A grid system was in place in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio to allow personnel to easily identify remains that would have been cared for if the Ohio National Guard was tasked with an active mortuary affairs mission during the COVID-19 pandemic. These partitions would have provided the deceased with dignity and respect while they were looked after and awaiting final disposition.
