200511-N-OW019-0001 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 11, 2020) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) approaches along-side the Military Sea Lift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187) to conduct a replenishment-at-sea during a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) as part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG while testing its ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
