Every Memorial Day, members from the Idaho Military Division, Idaho Army and Air National Guard, and U.S. Marine Corps and Navy Reserve units gather for a re-dedication and memorial brick ceremony. This year they could not gather at the Gowen Field Memorial Park and hold the annual re-dedication ceremony due to COVID-19. Instead, Joint Honor Guard members from the Idaho Army and Air National Guard, and U.S. Marine Corps and Navy Reserve units honor those who have come before us in a different way by performing in a video on May 14, 2020. Here, Staff Sgt. Will Halterman from the Idaho Army National Guard Honor Guard performs taps at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Becky Vanshur)
