The U.S. Coast Guard national security cutter USCGC Waesche (WMSL 751) conducts a live-fire gunnery exercise with the MK 110 57mm gun with the guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift and ships from the Philippine navy and coast guard during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2012 Philippines. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
