200518-N-UN063-1007 POINT MUGU, Calif. (May 18, 2020) Builder 3rd Class Jansen Byram, from Paducah, Ky., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, excavates a trench that will hold fence posts around a future display addition at the Point Mugu Missile Park outside of Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu. The Seabees are providing support to the base that will also serve as a graded project as part of a command sustainment exercise. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service. They provide task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
