New York National Guard Pvt. Laurence Uebelacker, a member of the 108th Infantry Regiment, who was killed on Sept. 29, 1918 as the 27th Division assaulted the Hindenburg Line near Bellicourt, Belgium. Uebelackers grave marker in Oneida, N.Y. had deteriorated and was restored by members of the New York Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry.
