U.S. Marines 7th Engineers Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group offload munitions meant for dam demolitions at Cleveland National Forest in Silverado, California, on June 1, 2020. Working in tandem with the U.S. Forestry Services, the Marines demolished 12 man-made dams to restore the environment to its natural state during the five-day operation on the Trabuco, Holy Jim Trail. The project was part of the Department of Defense's Innovation Readiness Training, which pairs civic projects in the United States with military training opportunities.
