(HOUSTON) – Texas Army National Guard medics with C Company, 536th Brigade Support Battalion, ready a Field Litter Ambulance in preparation to assist local law enforcement and medical staff involved in the civil unrest outside NRG Park Stadium in Houston, June 8th, 2020. On May 30, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott activated elements of the Texas National Guard to augment law enforcement throughout the state in response to civil unrest.
