U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class Savannah Gavin, the youngest member of Task Force 46, and Master Sgt. Billy Beliew, the oldest, use a sword to cut the U.S. Army birthday cake as a reminder that we are a band of warriors, committed to carrying arms so that our nation may live in peace on June 11, 2020 in East Lansing, Michigan. Task Force 46 is U.S. Army North's flexible, adaptable headquarters responsible for supporting Department of Defense COVID-19 efforts, and providing command and control over DoD military assets as part of Defense Support of Civil Authorities in the event of an all hazards event or a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incident in the homeland.
