Norfolk Naval Shipyard’s Veteran Employee Readiness Group (VET-ERG) presented 113 U.S. Flags to Sturtevant Funeral Home June 12 in honor of Flag Day. The flags were donated from the workforce and from within the community to be part of Sturtevant’s Retire the Flag Program. From Left to Right: VET-ERG Member Ricky Burroughs, VET-ERG Founding Member Jonathan Echols, Sturtevant Funeral Home Representative Robie Gardner, Shipyard Commander Capt.
