Sailors aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma celebrate 122 years of service of the Navy Hospital Corps for its dedication to tending to the sick and injured, at the Branch Medical Clinic on June 17, 2020.
President William McKinley formally approved the establishment of the U.S. Navy Hospital Corps on June 17, 1898 and since then, Navy Hospital Corpsmen have continued the tradition of caring for Marines and Sailors in our military hospitals, aboard ships, and on battlefields around the world.
