Barberton Community Ministries partnered with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank to provide community members the opportunity to receive foodstuffs and boxed meals. More than 500 Ohio National Guard members were activated to provide food bank support as part of COVID-19 relief efforts around the state, continuing the Guard’s long history of supporting humanitarian efforts throughout Ohio and the nation.
